我是当年明月，本名石悦，1979年生于湖北宜昌。我是海关公务员，也是《明朝那些事儿》的作者。
我写了9本书，讲明朝300年的历史，销量超过3000万册。我用现代语言讲历史，让枯燥的历史变得有趣。我说"幽默的只是我，不是历史"。
我27岁开始写，30岁写完，然后停笔。我没有辞职当作家，我继续当公务员，现在是上海市人民政府研究室副主任。
我被批评为"不够严谨""过于主观"，但我也让千万人爱上了历史。
