This skill covers the gplay-specific upload/validate flow — not screenshot *capture*.\n\nCapturing the raw images is standard Android tooling and not gplay-specific: take them with `adb shell screencap` (then `adb pull`), or drive state-based captures with an Espresso / UI Automator instrumentation test, switching emulator locale via `setprop persist.sys.locale` when you need per-language shots. Produce PNGs organized by locale and device type, then use the commands below.\n\n## Directory layout\n\ngplay expects a Fastlane-style tree. `sync import-images` and `release --screenshots-dir` both read this shape:\n\n```\nmetadata/\n  en-US/\n    images/\n      phoneScreenshots/\n        1_home.png\n        2_search.png\n      tenInchScreenshots/\n        1_home.png\n      featureGraphic.png\n  de-DE/\n    images/\n      phoneScreenshots/\n        1_home.png\n```\n\nScreenshots upload in filename order, so prefix with `1_`, `2_`, etc. to control ordering on the store.\n\n## Image types\n\n| Type | Usage |\n|------|-------|\n| `phoneScreenshots` | Phone screenshots (required, 2-8) |\n| `sevenInchScreenshots` | 7-inch tablet screenshots |\n| `tenInchScreenshots` | 10-inch tablet screenshots |\n| `tvScreenshots` | Android TV screenshots |\n| `wearScreenshots` | Wear OS screenshots |\n| `featureGraphic` | Feature graphic (1024x500) |\n| `promoGraphic` | Promo graphic (180x120) |\n| `icon` | App icon (512x512) |\n| `tvBanner` | TV banner (1280x720) |\n\nGoogle Play requires PNG or JPEG (PNG recommended), max 8 MB per image.\n\n## 1) Validate before uploading\n\nAlways validate the directory first — this catches count/dimension/format issues before you spend an upload:\n\n```bash\n# Validate all locales\ngplay validate screenshots --dir ./metadata --output table\n\n# Validate a single locale\ngplay validate screenshots --dir ./metadata --locale en-US --output table\n```\n\n## 2) Upload\n\n### Option A — bulk import (preferred)\n\nImports every image in the Fastlane tree in one command.
