This skill orchestrates the full process of adding a new service integration.\n\n## Overview\n\nAdding an integration involves these steps in order:\n1. **Research** - Read the service's API documentation\n2. **Create Tools** - Build tool configurations for each API operation\n3. **Create Block** - Build the block UI configuration\n4. **Add Icon** - Add the service's brand icon\n5. **Create Triggers** (optional) - If the service supports webhooks\n6. **Register** - Register tools, block, and triggers in their registries\n7. **Configure Deployment Availability** - Wire OAuth client and service-account metadata\n8. **Generate and Validate the Catalog** - Regenerate docs/catalog artifacts and run drift checks\n\n## Step 1: Research the API\n\nBefore writing any code:\n1. Use Context7 to find official documentation: `mcp__context7__resolve-library-id`, then fetch with `mcp__context7__query-docs`\n2. Or use WebFetch to read API docs directly\n3. Identify:\n   - Authentication method (OAuth, API Key, both)\n   - Available operations (CRUD, search, etc.)\n   - Required vs optional parameters\n   - Response structures\n\n### Hard Rule: No Guessed Response Schemas\n\nIf the official docs do not clearly show the response JSON shape for an endpoint, you MUST stop and tell the user exactly which outputs are unknown.\n\n- Do NOT guess response field names\n- Do NOT infer nested JSON paths from related endpoints\n- Do NOT invent output properties just because they seem likely\n- Do NOT implement `transformResponse` against unverified payload shapes\n\nIf response schemas are missing or incomplete, do one of the following before proceeding:\n1. Ask the user for sample responses\n2. Ask the user for test credentials so you can verify the live payload\n3. Reduce the scope to only endpoints whose response shapes are documented\n4. Leave the tool unimplemented and explicitly report why\n\n## Step 2: Create Tools\n\n### Directory Structure\n```\napps/sim/tools/{service}/\n├── index.ts          # Barrel exports\n├── types.ts          # TypeScript interfaces\n├── {action1}.ts      # Tool for action 1\n├── {action2}.ts      # Tool for action 2\n└── ...\n```\n\n### Key Patterns\n\nChoose the tool boundary before writing the declaration:\n\n- Use `InternalToolConfig.operation` for same-process Sim/provider work. Put the handler under\n  `apps/sim/lib/internal/{service}/execute-tool.ts` and register every ID in\n  `apps/sim/lib/internal/tool-operations/registry.server.ts`.\n- Use `ToolConfig.request` only for an absolute external HTTP(S) provider endpoint.\n\nNever point a tool at `/api/...`, construct an absolute URL back to Sim, declare\n`request.internal`, add a `directExecution` property (it fails `bun run check:tool-request-boundary`), or add an API route merely to reuse code, normalize files, or authorize\nresources. A real external/browser route and an in-process tool may share the same operation, but\nneither calls the other. Both full templates, param visibility rules, and output typing live in `.agents/skills/add-tools/SKILL.md` — read it before writing the first tool.\n\n### Critical Rules\n- `visibility: 'hidden'` for OAuth tokens\n- `visibility: 'user-only'` for API keys and user credentials\n- `visibility: 'user-or-llm'` for operation parameters\n- Always use `?? null` for nullable API response fields\n- Always use `?? []` for optional array fields\n- Set `optional: true` for outputs that may not exist\n- Never output raw JSON dumps - extract meaningful fields\n- When using `type: 'json'` and you know the object shape, define `properties` with the inner fields so downstream consumers know the structure. Only use bare `type: 'json'` when the shape is truly dynamic\n\n### Resolved Secrets at Model and Persistence Boundaries\n\nClassify every request field (ordinary provider input / AI-consumed text / opaque model bytes /\nSim-durable storage) before implementing the tool and apply the shared projection or provenance\nmechanism only where a concrete Sim `{{...}}` resolution path reaches a later model or log boundary.\nFull rules and the required tests are in `.agents/skills/add-tools/SKILL.md` → \"Resolved Secrets and\nProvenance Boundaries\".\n\n## Step 3: Create Block\n\n### File Location\n`apps/sim/blocks/blocks/{service}.ts`\n\nFollow `.agents/skills/add-block/SKILL.md` for the block structure, subBlock types,\n`condition`/`dependsOn`/`required`/`mode` syntax, outputs, `canvasPresentation` sentences, and the\n`{Service}BlockMeta` export (minimum 7 templates, plus `url` and `skills`). Every block declares\n`canvasPresentation`; `bun run apps/sim/scripts/check-canvas-sentences.ts --block={service}` must\npass (CI runs `check:canvas-sentences --require-coverage`).\n\nTwo rules that are easy to get wrong when copying from existing blocks:\n\n- Every remote `selectorKey` must use the unified server selector path. Apply the `add-selector` skill:\n  add browser-safe metadata to `apps/sim/lib/selectors/manifest.ts`, reuse or extract a server-only\n  provider listing primitive, and add a credential- and destination-bound server attachment. Do not\n  add code under `hooks/selectors/providers`, a provider-specific query key, browser token acquisition,\n  or a selector-only API route. The shared context builder sends only active `dependsOn` values and\n  preserves exact `{{KEY}}` environment references for server-side resolution.\n- A `canonicalParamId` is a third name that neither member of a basic/advanced pair uses as its `id`\n  (e.g. `channelSelector` + `channelId` → `canonicalParamId: 'channel'`). It is the only key that\n  survives serialization, so `inputs` and `tools.config.params` reference the canonical id, never the\n  subblock ids. It is unique block-wide, and every member of a group shares the same `required` value.\n\n## Step 4: Add Icon\n\n### File Location\n`apps/sim/components/icons.tsx`\n\n### Pattern\n```typescript\nexport function {Service}Icon(props: SVGProps<SVGSVGElement>) {\n  return (\n    <svg\n      {...props}\n      viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\"\n      fill=\"none\"\n      xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/2000/svg\"\n    >\n      {/* SVG paths from user-provided SVG */}\n    </svg>\n  )\n}\n```\n\n### Getting Icons\n**Do not search for icons yourself.** At the end of implementation, ask the user to paste the service's SVG (usually on its brand/press kit page).\n\nOnce the user provides the SVG:\n1. Extract the SVG paths/content\n2. Create a React component that spreads props\n3. Ensure viewBox is preserved from the original SVG\n\n### Theme-safety (bare rendering) — REQUIRED\n\nThe icon renders both inside its colored `bgColor` tile AND \"bare\" (no tile) on a\nneutral page — e.g. the home **Suggested actions** list — in both light and dark\nmode. A monochrome logo whose paths hardcode a single near-white or near-black\nfill is invisible bare on the matching background (white-on-white in light mode,\nblack-on-black in dark mode).\n\nRules when adding the SVG:\n\n- **Monochrome logos** (a single white or black mark): draw the shape with\n  `fill='currentColor'`, not `fill='#fff'` / `fill='#000000'`. It then inherits\n  white inside dark tiles, near-black inside light tiles (via\n  `getTileIconColorClass`), and the theme-aware `var(--text-icon)` bare — legible\n  everywhere. Do NOT set `iconColor` for these.\n- **Multi-color brand logos** (their own vivid fills): keep the hardcoded fills.\n  They read on any background. Only set `iconColor` (a vivid brand hex, never a\n  near-black/near-white tile color) if the bare icon should adopt a brand tint.\n- A large white shape with a tiny vivid accent (e.g. a logo where the body is the\n  white negative space) still vanishes bare — convert the body to `currentColor`.\n\nVerify with `bun run check:bare-icons` (also runs in CI). It flags purely\nmonochrome hazards; for partial-accent logos, eyeball the suggested-actions list\nin both light and dark mode.\n\n## Step 5: Create Triggers (Optional)\n\nIf the service supports webhooks or needs polling, follow `.agents/skills/add-trigger/SKILL.md`\n(directory layout, `buildTriggerSubBlocks`, provider handler, polling handler); then wire\n`triggers.enabled` / `triggers.available` into the block and spread each trigger's\n`getTrigger(id).subBlocks` after the tool subBlocks.\n\n## Step 6: Register Everything\n\n### Tools Registry (`apps/sim/tools/registry.ts`)\n\n```typescript\n// Add import (alphabetically)\nimport {\n  {service}Action1Tool,\n  {service}Action2Tool,\n} from '@/tools/{service}'\n\n// Add to tools object (alphabetically)\nexport const tools: Record<string, ToolConfig> = {\n  // ... existing tools ...\n  {service}_action1: {service}Action1Tool,\n  {service}_action2: {service}Action2Tool,\n}\n```\n\nThen regenerate the generated tool metadata and commit it:\n\n```bash\nbun run tool-metadata:generate\n```\n\nClient code reads `params`/`outputs` from these artifacts rather than importing\nthe registry, so a tool you add, change or remove is invisible to the UI until they are regenerated,\nand CI fails on stale ones. See `.agents/skills/tool-registry-boundary/SKILL.md`.\n\n### Block Registry (`apps/sim/blocks/registry-maps.ts`)\n\nThe data maps (`BLOCK_REGISTRY` + `BLOCK_META_REGISTRY`) live in `registry-maps.ts`; `registry.ts` holds only the accessor functions. API-key and unauthenticated integrations do not need\nan OAuth client capability.\n\nThe block's `oauth-input.serviceId` is the canonical link between the generated integration catalog,\nthe OAuth service configuration, deployment availability, and the setup CLI.\n\n1. Ensure the block has exactly one distinct OAuth `serviceId` and that it matches the canonical\n   service entry in `apps/sim/lib/oauth/oauth.ts`.\n2. Confirm `resolveOAuthClientCapabilityId(serviceId)` resolves to the intended provider entry in\n   `OAUTH_CLIENT_CAPABILITIES` in `packages/deployment-config/src/env-capabilities.ts`.
