Record source names, sizes, columns, types, row counts, and keys.\n   - Detect encoding, delimiter, duplicate-key, timezone, and locale issues.\n\n2. **Validate**\n   - Check missingness, ranges, uniqueness, referential integrity, and impossible values.\n   - Separate source defects from intentional filtering.\n   - Stop or quarantine records when a defect would invalidate the result.\n\n3. **Transform**\n   - Keep raw input unchanged.\n   - Make cleaning steps explicit and deterministic.\n   - Preserve units and document joins, filters, imputations, and derived fields.\n\n4. **Analyze**\n   - Start with counts and distributions.\n   - Choose statistical methods that match variable type, sample design, and question.\n   - Report effect size or practical magnitude when significance tests are used.\n   - Test important assumptions and provide a fallback when they fail.\n\n5. **Visualize**\n   - Select a chart based on the comparison, trend, distribution, or relationship.\n   - Label units, time windows, filters, and sample sizes.\n   - Avoid visual encodings that exaggerate small differences.\n\n6. **Package**\n   - Keep configuration and paths separate from analysis logic.\n   - Use stable output names and create parent directories deliberately.\n   - Include a concise run command and dependency information when code is delivered.\n\n7. **Verify**\n   - Run the analysis from a clean start.\n   -
