User controls all git writes.\n\n## Allowed Commands\n\n```bash\ngit status    git diff    git log    git show    git branch\n```\n\n## Forbidden Commands\n\n```\nadd    commit    push    pull    fetch\nmerge  rebase    cherry-pick\ncheckout    switch    restore\nreset    revert    stash    tag\n```\n\n**No exceptions.**\n\n## Before Completing Work\n\nVerify expected changes:\n\n```bash\ngit status   # Check files changed\ngit diff     # Review actual changes\n```\n\n## Tracked vs Gitignored Spec Paths\n\n- Everything under `specs/_plans/<plan-name>/` is tracked and committed with the plan directory, never gitignored. This includes the evidence artifacts:\n  - `open-questions.md` (present only while the plan is blocked)\n  - `review/` (plan-review findings, `round-<N>.md`)\n  - `review-findings.md` (code-review findings)\n  - `tasks.md` and `verification-report.md`\n- These commits put the evidence trail into history before `/speq-record` archives the plan (`mv specs/_plans/<plan-name> specs/_recorded/NNN-<plan-name>`).\n- `specs/_recorded/` is gitignored by default. This is a default, not an enforced rule: a project can track `_recorded/`, and the archived plan then lands in history a second time.\n- `/speq-audit`'s gitignore-hygiene checks default to this split (`_plans`/`_decision` tracked, `_recorded` ignored).
