Bound the question\n\nState the exact question or decision, system boundary, time horizon,\nconsequence of error, and evidence currently available. Resolve an ambiguous\nscope from local context when safe; ask at most one question only when different\nanswers would materially change the lens or decision.\n\n### 2. Precommit the method\n\nName the primary lens and its concrete reason in one line. If using a challenging\nlens, state what different prediction or failure mode justifies it. Define the\nartifact and method-specific terminal condition before drawing a conclusion.\n\n### 3. Construct, then attack\n\nBuild the artifact required by the selected lens. Preserve rival models and\nnegative evidence. Record the strongest counterargument to the leading model\nbefore supporting it. Fix the falsifier, invalidation threshold, update trigger,\nor boundary of identification before interpreting any new result; do not move\nthe gate after seeing evidence.\n\nWhen evidence can be gathered safely, prefer the cheapest observation that\ndistinguishes live models. Do not ask for measurements that cannot affect the\ndecision. Never invent telemetry, probabilities, causality, constraints, or\nsystem boundaries.\n\n### 4.
