It must only rely on the currently supported tool capabilities:\n\n- `sciverse_search.search`\n- `sciverse_search.meta_search`\n- `sciverse_search.meta_catalog`\n- `sciverse_search.get_content`\n\nDo not assume Sciverse MCP tools, resource APIs, binary attachment downloads, figure/table downloads, DianShi, or SeqStudio capabilities are available unless the runtime explicitly exposes those tools.\n\n## When To Use\n\nUse this skill for:\n\n- Finding scientific papers on a research topic.\n- Retrieving citable evidence snippets for a scientific question.\n- Screening papers by year, venue, DOI, author, title, or metadata fields.\n- Building paper lists for literature reviews.\n- Reading fuller text for selected Sciverse results when `doc_id` is available.\n- Producing cited summaries, comparisons, or evidence tables from Sciverse results.\n\nDo not use this skill for:\n\n- Downloading paper images, figures, tables, PDFs, or binary resources.\n- Chemical retrosynthesis, molecule/reaction search, or DianShi workflows.\n- Protein sequence/structure annotation or SeqStudio workflows.\n- Claims that require full-text access when only abstracts or snippets are available.\n\n## Available Tool Capabilities\n\n### `sciverse_search.search`\n\nUse this for normal Agent retrieval.\n\nRecommended defaults:\n\n```text\nquery=<research question or paper topic>\ntopk=5\nsearch_type=\"agentic\"\ninclude_content=true\n```\n\nUse `search_type=\"agentic\"` when the user asks a natural-language scientific question and needs evidence passages.\n\nUse `search_type=\"meta\"` when the user mainly needs paper metadata. You may pass `year_from` and `year_to` for year constraints.\n\nCurrent implementation notes:\n\n- `topk` is capped at 10.\n- Results are normalized to title, url, snippet, source, and `extra`.\n- `extra` may include `doc_id`, `doi`, `year`, `venue`, `authors`, `score`, `chunk_id`, `page_no`, `offset`, and `content`.\n\n### `sciverse_search.meta_search`\n\nUse this for advanced metadata search, filtering, pagination, and paper-list tasks.\n\nImportant constraints:\n\n- Do not use `query` together with `sort`.\n- Do not use `cursor` together with `page > 1`.\n- `page_size` is capped at 200.\n- `freshness_boost` must be `NONE`, `MILD`, or `STRONG`.\n\nUseful parameters:\n\n```text\nquery\nfilters\nsort\nfields\npage\npage_size\ncursor\nfreshness_boost\ninclude_content\nyear_from\nyear_to\n```\n\nUse `year_from` and `year_to` for simple publication-year filtering.\n\n### `sciverse_search.meta_catalog`\n\nCall this before constructing complex filters or sort clauses if you are unsure which fields and operators are supported.\n\nUse:\n\n```text\ninclude_sample_values=false\n```\n\nSet `include_sample_values=true` only when enum-like sample values are needed.\n\n### `sciverse_search.get_content`\n\nUse this to read fuller text for one search result.\n\nThe current implementation:\n\n1. Looks for `doc_id` in the item or `item.extra.doc_id`.\n2. Calls Sciverse `/content` with `doc_id`.\n3. Supports chunked reading with `offset` and `limit`.\n4. Falls back to `extra.content`, `snippet`, or URL fetching when `/content` is unavailable.\n\nDo not claim full text was read unless `get_content` actually returns fuller content. If the result only contains an abstract or snippet, say that the analysis is based on metadata/snippets.\n\n## Workflow\n\n### Phase 1: Clarify Search Intent\n\nClassify the user's request:\n\n- Evidence answer: use agentic search.\n- Paper list or screening: use meta search.\n- Field-specific filtering: call meta catalog first.\n- Deep literature review: combine agentic search and meta search.\n- Read one selected paper: use `get_content` on a selected result.\n\n### Phase 2: Retrieve Papers\n\nFor natural-language evidence questions:\n\n```text\nsciverse_search.search(query=\"<question>\", topk=5, search_type=\"agentic\", include_content=true)\n```\n\nFor paper screening:\n\n```text\nsciverse_search.meta_search(\n  query=\"<topic>\",\n  fields=[\"title\", \"doi\", \"doc_id\", \"abstract\", \"author\", \"publication_published_year\", \"publication_venue_name_unified\"],\n  page_size=25,\n  year_from=<optional>,\n  year_to=<optional>\n)\n```\n\nFor precise filters:\n\n1. Call `sciverse_search.meta_catalog`.\n2. Build filters only from supported fields/operators.\n3. Call `meta_search`.\n\n### Phase 3: Inspect and Read\n\nFor the most relevant results:\n\n1. Extract title, DOI, year, venue, authors, doc_id, and snippet/content.\n2. If the user needs deeper analysis, call `get_content` on selected items.\n3.
