欧洲传统分幕取奇数（三幕/五幕）以便高潮居中；契诃夫所有多幕剧都是四幕，目的是\"把舞台上的戏剧事件平凡化与生活化\"（童道明）。\n- 焦菊隐：契诃夫**分幕不以故事为出发点，而首先寻找适宜的情调**——一幕：恼人的春天、晨曦、家人的团聚、理想之憧憬；二幕：懒散、空谈、伤感、半歇斯底里、动荡与矛盾；三幕：荒凉的夜晚、各人怀着各人的忧郁、自私、灵魂之无法沟通；四幕：崩溃、绝望、别离。\n- **指令：先给每一幕定一个情绪关键词，再决定这一幕里放哪些事。把事件放进情调里，而不是把情调贴在事件上。**\n\n### S2 幕与幕之间跳过大事\n- 《海鸥》三四幕之间两年（妮娜的毁灭在画外）；《伊凡诺夫》一年（安娜之死）；《三姊妹》每幕隔一年（结婚、生子、抵押）。\n- 幕首用闲话补叙：\"教授要住到世界末日\"\"他八个月没付房租\"\"父亲死了整整一年了\"。\n- **指令：最大的变化发生在幕间；开幕第一句台词交代时间刻度（周年、日期、命名日）。**\n\n### S3 中心事件画外化\n- 枪响在后台（海鸥、三姊妹、林妖）；拍卖在城里；决斗在森林；死讯由最冷漠的人耳语或宣布（多尔恩、契布蒂金）。\n- 画内的枪必须打不中（万尼亚\"啊，砰！没打着？又没打着？！\"）。\n- 首尾同景／同段对白\n- 《樱桃园》幼儿室第一幕填满（窗关、开花、众人进）、第四幕清空（摘去窗帘画框、家具堆角、众人出）——物件的减少代替叙述。\n- 《万尼亚》乳母的\"喝点茶吧\"\"要不来一小盅酒吧\"首尾各一次，唯一差别是主角第二次接受了酒。\n- 三、人物层的十条可复用模式\n\n### C1 没有天使没有魔鬼；冲突是人与环境\n- 没有反派。娜达莎的胜利用房间逐间易主写（绿带子被纠正→端蜡烛查火烛→\"伊里娜那间屋子对孩子很合适\"→\"我不许你在我面前坐着\"→\"砍掉枞树\"\"这把叉子为什么乱丢\"），不用一句恶毒台词。\n- 教授的罪是\"著名的无名之辈\"；罗巴辛买园时哭。\n- **指令：反派的胜利用对空间和物件的命令来写。**\n\n### C2 配角各持一个对主角的简单解释，主角自己\"不知道\"\n- 伊凡诺夫：里沃夫＝达尔丢夫/流氓；久久什卡＝为钱娶犹太女人；科西赫＝打牌像鞋匠；萨沙＝第二个哈姆莱特。伊凡诺夫自己：\"我不了解你，你不了解我，我们也不了解我们自己。\"\n- **指令：主题由打扫的人、听不见的人、被忘记的人说出。让主角只能对听不见的人说真话（安德烈对聋子：\"如果你真能听得清楚的话，也许我就不跟你说了\"），听者回以荒诞的传闻（\"莫斯科有商人吃薄饼吃死了\"\"彼得堡冷到了二百度\"）。**\n\n### C7 身份不明者负责表演\n-
