It calls Linear's GraphQL API directly and prints JSON for reliable agent consumption.\n\n## CLI\n\nBefore the first Linear operation in a session, check whether the installed CLI is available:\n\n```bash\ncommand -v linear\n```\n\nIf found, prefer it for all operations:\n\n```bash\nlinear <command>\n```\n\nOtherwise, fall back to the bundled CLI at `scripts/linear.mjs`, relative to this `SKILL.md`. Resolve that path from the loaded skill directory and invoke it with Node:\n\n```bash\nnode /absolute/path/to/this/skill/scripts/linear.mjs <command>\n```\n\nThe CLI detects the Git `origin` and applies defaults from the local, untracked `~/.config/linear-cli/repository-mappings.json`. Inspect them with `linear context`, configure the current repository with `linear context set --team ENG --project Platform`, and remove them with `linear context unset`. Explicit flags always override local defaults. Never commit this machine-specific mapping file.\n\nA repository may map to several Linear projects (for example `acme-corp/storefront` → `Storefront, Admin`): pass `--project \"Storefront,Admin\"` to `linear context set`, which stores a `projects` array (the legacy single `project` string is still read for older entries). When a repository maps to multiple projects, `linear issues create` **fails with a clear error unless `--project` is passed explicitly** — it never silently picks one, because issues landing in the wrong project are worse than an extra flag.\n\n## Authentication\n\nCheck authentication before the first Linear operation in a session:\n\n```bash\nlinear auth status\n```\n\n`linear auth login` uses OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code + PKCE by default. It opens Linear in the browser, receives the callback at `http://127.0.0.1:53682/callback`, stores access/refresh credentials in macOS Keychain, and refreshes expired access tokens automatically. That exact callback URI must be registered on the bundled Linear OAuth application.\n\nCredential resolution order:\n\n1. `LINEAR_API_KEY` or `LINEAR_OAUTH_ACCESS_TOKEN` environment override\n2. macOS Keychain entry managed by the CLI\n3. `~/.config/linear-cli/config.json` (mode `0600`)\n\nInteractive setup:\n\n```bash\nlinear auth login\n```\n\nA personal API key remains available only as a fallback:\n\n```bash\nlinear auth login --api-key\n```\n\nNever print, log, commit, or pass access tokens, refresh tokens, or API keys in command arguments. Search for an existing issue with relevant keywords.\n2. Resolve the team instead of guessing its UUID; use the repository's configured team key when one is available.\n3. Resolve and assign the owning project (for example `Storefront`) with `--project`; do not leave project-scoped repository work unassigned.\n4. When the team uses cycles, assign active implementation work with `--cycle current` unless the user names a different cycle.\n5. Add the appropriate team label (for example `Bug`, `Feature`, or `Improvement`) rather than leaving the issue unlabeled.\n6. Keep the title imperative and concise.\n7. Put context, expected behavior, implementation notes, and links in the Markdown description.\n8. Return the created issue identifier and URL to the user.\n\nWhen linking a GitHub pull request:\n\n1. Create or identify the Linear issue.\n2. Add `Fixes ENG-123` (or another repository-approved magic phrase) to the PR description.\n3.
