Ensures agents write tests correctly and understand the CI gate requirements.\nlicense: Apache-2.0\n---\n\n# Testing and CI Skill\n\n## Trigger\n\nUse this skill when:\n- Adding or modifying backend tests\n- Adding or modifying frontend tests\n- Changing CI/CD workflows\n- Adding smoke tests or E2E tests\n\n## Rules\n\n### Backend Testing\n\nTests live alongside source in each module's `src/test/java/`:\n- `server/skillhub-app/src/test/java/` — Controller integration tests, service tests\n- `server/skillhub-domain/src/test/java/` — Domain service unit tests\n- `server/skillhub-auth/src/test/java/` — Auth flow tests\n\n**Tools**: JUnit 5 + Mockito + AssertJ + Spring Boot test slices (`@WebMvcTest`, `@DataJpaTest`)\n\n**Build commands:**\n```bash\nmake test-backend-app   # skillhub-app + dependencies (includes -am)\nmake test-backend       # all backend modules\n```\n\n**Never** run `./mvnw -pl skillhub-app clean test` directly under `server/`.\n`skillhub-app` depends on sibling modules, and a standalone clean build can fall back to stale\nartifacts from the local Maven repository, surfacing misleading `cannot find symbol` and\nsignature-mismatch errors.
