(timing, technology, regulation, behavior shift)\n\n**Q3: What's the distribution advantage?**\n- How will the first 100 users find this product?\n- Is there a built-in growth loop, or is every user acquired through paid or manual effort?\n- If the only answer is \"content marketing and SEO\", that's a red flag for a startup\n\n**Q4: Can this be a big business, or is it a feature?**\n- Is this a standalone product, or will an incumbent add it as a feature?\n- What's the natural ceiling? ($ revenue, # users)\n- What would need to be true for this to reach $1M ARR?\n\n**Q5: Can the founder actually build this?**\n- What skills and resources are required?\n- What's the hardest technical or operational challenge?\n- Is this a \"first hire\" problem (you can't launch without a specific expert)?\n\n### 3. Idea scorecard\n\nRate the idea on each dimension (1-5):\n\n| Dimension | Score | Notes |\n|-----------|-------|-------|\n| Problem severity | | How painful is this? |\n| Market size | | How many people have this problem? |\n| Willingness to pay | | Will they pay enough to build a business? |\n| Competition gap | | Is there real space for a new entrant? |\n| Distribution | | Can you reach customers cheaply? |\n| Timing | | Is this the right moment? |\n| Founder fit | | Does the founder have an unfair advantage? |\n| **Total** | **/35** | |\n\nIf the input says nothing about the founder, score founder fit as \"?\" and ask about it in the verdict.\n\n**Scoring guide:**\n- 28-35: Strong idea. Validate fast and build.\n- 21-27: Promising but has gaps. Fix the weakest dimension before building.\n- 14-20: Significant concerns. Needs a major pivot or a different angle.\n- Below 14: Start over. The idea has fundamental problems.\n\n### 4. Validation experiments\n\nRecommend 3 specific experiments to run before writing any code. For each:\n- What to test (one specific assumption)\n- How to test it (exact steps, not \"talk to users\")\n- Success criteria (a specific number or outcome)\n- Time and cost (under 2 weeks and under $200)\n\n### 5. The honest verdict\n\nEnd with one of:\n- **Build it**, with the single most important thing to do this week\n- **Pivot it**, with the angle that would make this much stronger\n- **Kill it**, with why, and which adjacent problem is worth solving instead\n\n## Rules\n\n- Be honest, not encouraging.
