Round size and terms\n\n- **Amount** and why: what makes sense for the stage, not what the founder wants\n- **Instrument:** SAFE, convertible note, or priced round, with the specific terms\n- **Valuation range** from published data for this stage, region, and sector in the last 12 months (for example Carta or PitchBook reports), with links. If you can't find recent data, say so.\n- **Runway** the money should buy, in months\n- **Dilution** the founder should expect\n\n### 3. Investor targeting\n\n**Investor profile**\n- Fund stage\n- Check size range\n- Sector focus\n- Geography\n- Hands-on or passive\n\n**Target list framework**\n- Tier 1 (best fit): 10 funds, and the criteria for this tier\n- Tier 2 (strong fit): 20 funds, and the criteria\n- Tier 3 (backup): 20 funds, and the criteria\n- 50 investors minimum in the pipeline\n\nName up to 10 example funds that match the profile, each with a link showing a recent investment at this stage and in this sector.
