Use `cherry-electron-dev` for ongoing\nimplementation or debugging in the current checkout.\n\n## Prerequisites and safety\n\n- Require authenticated `gh`, `pnpm`, and installed project dependencies.\n- Use Playwright/CDP or optional `agent-browser` for UI control.\n- Before touching Electron, read\n  [Electron Instance Management](../cherry-electron-dev/references/electron-instance.md)\n  and select its `ephemeral` policy.\n- Treat that reference as the only authority for discovery, target selection,\n  launch, replacement, shutdown, tracking, and troubleshooting.\n- Never discard local changes. Stop and ask if checkout would overwrite them.\n- Show the report before posting it anywhere.\n\n`$ARGUMENTS` may contain a PR number, PR URL, `latest`/`recent`, or nothing.\n\n## Workflow\n\n### 1. Resolve and inspect the PR\n\nIf no PR is specified, list recent PRs and ask the user to choose unless they\nrequested the latest:\n\n```bash\ngh pr list --repo CherryHQ/cherry-studio --state open --limit 10 \\\n  --json number,title,author,createdAt,headRefName,changedFiles\n```\n\nRecord the current branch for restoration, inspect the PR, then check it out:\n\n```bash\ngit status --short\ngit branch --show-current\ngh pr view <NUMBER> --json title,body,author,headRefName,files\ngh pr checkout <NUMBER>\n```\n\nRead the changed files and nearby instructions. Record the exact checked-out\nHEAD.\n\n### 2. Analyze and start the app\n\nRun static analysis while the app starts when both can proceed independently.\n\nFor static analysis:\n\n```bash\npnpm typecheck\n```\n\nAlso check:\n\n- blocked or deprecated v1/v2-refactor files\n- hardcoded user-visible strings instead of i18n\n- `console.log` instead of `loggerService`\n- missing types on new public interfaces\n\nFor Electron:\n\n1. Use the shared reference to verify existing instances.\n2. Reuse only an instance from this workspace whose recorded launch HEAD equals\n   the checked-out PR HEAD.\n3. When reusing one, mark it borrowed and preserve its existing policy and\n   ownership. Never reclassify a persistent instance as ephemeral.\n4. Otherwise gracefully replace only the verified same-workspace instance.\n5. Launch an `ephemeral`, agent-owned instance with an isolated\n   `CS_DEV_USER_DATA_SUFFIX`, such as `PR-<NUMBER>`.\n6. Keep its managed terminal/session, PIDs, ports, log, exact target, and\n   `pr-test:<NUMBER>` launch purpose in\n   `instance.json`.\n\nDo not use broad process or port cleanup.\n\n### 3. Run interactive tests\n\nBind the controller to the exact target returned by the shared reference.\nNever navigate to a guessed root URL or select a target by index.\n\nBuild test cases from the PR description and changed files:\n\n1. Capture the initial state.\n2. Inspect interactive elements with the available CDP controller.\n3. Exercise the changed behavior.\n4. Capture the result and verify relevant persisted state.\n5. Repeat edge cases justified by the change.\n\nConsider UI rendering, interactions, persistence, light/dark themes, relevant\nwindow sizes, i18n, empty states, and rapid interaction only when in scope.\n\nStore screenshots and the report under `/tmp/pr-<NUMBER>/`:\n\n```bash\nmkdir -p /tmp/pr-<NUMBER>\n```\n\nIf an isolated profile shows the migration wizard or splash, follow the shared\ntroubleshooting guidance and startup logs. Do not reset or force-close data.\n\n### 4. Clean up and restore\n\nUse the shared `ephemeral` finish procedure. Stop only an instance launched by\nthis PR-test workflow whose verified record remains `ephemeral`, agent-owned,\nand scoped to `pr-test:<NUMBER>`. Leave every borrowed instance running. Do not\nstop unrelated workspaces or packaged apps.\n\nRestore the branch recorded before checkout.
