The default model is **Nano Banana 2** (`gemini-3.1-flash-image-preview`), combining Pro-level quality with Flash speed at ~50% lower cost.\n\n## Why\n\nVisual content usually means switching tools, re-learning prompt tricks, and fighting to keep a consistent look across a set of images. Art keeps it inside Claude Code.
