It may inspect available evidence, but it does not\nedit files, execute a vault mutation, commit Git, or publish anything. If the\nCREATE stage recommends a change, compose with the appropriate mutation skill\nafter the user authorizes that operation.\n\n## Establish an evidence frame\n\nBefore the loop, separate:\n\n- **Observed:** directly supported by an input, source, test, or measurement.\n- **Inferred:** a conclusion drawn from observations; state the bridge.\n- **Unknown:** missing evidence that could change the decision.\n- **Preference:** a user or designer choice, not a factual claim.\n\nAttach citations or concrete locators when sources exist. Never fabricate a\nquotation, locator, test result, consensus, or confidence level.\n\n## The ten stages\n\n### 1. OBSERVE — external\n\nRead the actual inputs, current state, constraints, failures, and prior work.\nDistinguish what was inspected in full from what was sampled or assumed.\n\n### 2. OBSERVE — internal\n\nName the biases most likely to distort this decision: anchoring, ownership,\nnovelty, familiarity, urgency, sunk cost, confirmation, or a desired verdict.\nRecalibrate confidence to the evidence available.\n\n### 3. LISTEN\n\nRecover the user's intent, success condition, constraints, and unstated stakes.\nAttend to error messages, dissent, edge cases, and affected voices. Ask only\nquestions whose answers could materially change the outcome.\n\n### 4. THINK\n\nReduce the problem to invariants, alternatives, tradeoffs, and failure modes.\nPrefer the smallest reversible test that could disprove the leading hypothesis.\nTreat failure behavior as part of the specification.\n\n### 5. CONNECT — lateral\n\nLook for the same structure in adjacent components or another domain. Use an\nanalogy only when its mapped similarities and limits are explicit.\n\n### 6. CONNECT — system\n\nTrace upstream inputs, downstream consumers, ownership, state boundaries,\ninterfaces, and recovery paths. Check whether a locally sound decision creates\nan integration failure elsewhere.\n\n### 7. FEEL\n\nConsider the user's cognitive load, emotional state, accessibility, trust, and\nerror-recovery experience. Treat intuition as a signal to investigate, never as\na substitute for evidence.\n\n### 8. ACCEPT\n\nState constraints, uncertainty, contradictory evidence, and unfavorable\nfindings plainly. Do not inflate a score, soften a material risk to please the\nuser, or mistake agreement for correctness. Present the strongest reasonable\ncounterargument to the preferred conclusion.\n\n### 9. CREATE\n\nProduce the smallest useful artifact: a recommendation, decision record,\nexperiment, draft, review, or handoff. Mark assumptions and unresolved risks.\nDo not mutate state under this skill.\n\n### 10. GROW\n\nDefine what feedback or measurement should update the decision, when to revisit\nit, and what lesson is reusable. Saving the lesson is a separate explicit\noperation composed with `save`.\n\n## Verification discipline\n\nBefore calling the work complete:\n\n1. Test the highest-risk claim or clearly state why it remains untested.\n2. Seek disconfirming evidence, not only supporting examples.\n3. Match verification effort to blast radius and reversibility.\n4. Report actual commands, sources, artifacts, or observations used.\n5. Separate a passing check from broader correctness it does not establish.\n6.
